Day out at the reptile house

Many of my days out have inspired me to create an adventure for Tiger. A while back I visited a reptile house and was inspired to draw in preparation for a possible story for Tiger.

Besides visiting farms and zoos, I have been inspired to illustrate from reptile houses, sealife centres, cafes, restaurants, shops, the seaside and so much more!

I have recently started working full time, but my “lazy” Sundays consist of being very creative! I have now created a lady to run the shop that Tiger will visit, and I am also in the process of working with other characters and playing with a bit of fashion design! It’s all good fun.

When there is no story to tell…

Tiger is a very versatile cat, and as I enjoy creating exciting and adorable stories for him, I also like to consider the other ways in which I could use Tiger…

Even with his colour altered or his features completely masked, Tiger is still recognisable.

The examples above involve me trying out Tiger as a pattern and as a watermark. I can see the patterns and the watermark being used on stationery amongst other things.

With the stories being a work in progress, it is nice to be able to create some fast results for other projects!
